Hi Autodesk Forums!
I have this subject in school where we're supposed to be using AutoCAD for educational use. I had heard that you could get it for free if you are a registered student. I then proceeded to downloading AutoCAD and I went with 2014, however, when I had it installed and ran it, it came up with the following message:
"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x006c Exception at de4efe0bh"
I thought, that maybe it was because my computer couldn't handle AutoCAD '14 since I only have Windows 7.
I went on and downloaded AutoCAD '13, but I still got that message. I even tried with AutoCAD '12 but it still gives me the same message.
I don't know if this is of any use, but my here are my computer specifications:
- Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2 Ghz
- nVidia Geforce GT 130m
- 4 GB DDR2 800MHz ram
- Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1
I hope someone can help me out as I need to use AutoCAD for the rest of the year.
- Morten
