First, huge thanks and kudos to Charles Shade and Ellen Finkelstein for their public contributions regarding text rotation in dynamic blocks.
My dynamic block and text rotates just fine...until I temporarily change the UCS orientation (to line up with angled walls and such). After changing the UCS orientation, and inserting a new instance of the block, the text within the dynamic block is oriented to the changed UCS orientation.
What I'm looking to do is have the text ALWAYS match the layout orientation regardless of the UCS.
The only option I can come up with is to make the text annotative and "match text orientation to layout", however my text styles within the dynamic block are not annotative because the block itself is annotative. I've had really odd outcomes when annotative text is used in annotative blocks. But maybe I'm missing something there too.
