Flatten from autocad file to 2D

Hi All,

I have a customer would like to view and modify the file from autocad 3D using autocad LT 2014, I know that autocad LT can directly view the file, however if she want to modify the file in LT, what should she do?

I found a function call "Flattern", that means user able to modify the drawing after converted to 2D? If no, what is the purpose of "Flattern" the file to 2D? Many thanks!:smileyhappy:
