Today I started a new .DWG in AutoCAD 2014. Units were set to inches, decimal. I then brought in a vendor-supplied part that was drawn in mm (at least, I think it was). I then tried to draw a 60" line and it showed up as what appeared to be a point. Long story short, if I throw a linerar dimension on what is *supposed* to be a ~34" wide object in the drawing, it comes it at approximately 500,000,000 (yes, half a billion) inches. How on earth did this happen, and how do I fix it? I can atach the file if necessary.
I did both a UNITS and a DWGUNITS command to make sure everything was set properly; it was.
I have had cases where drawings were off by a factor of 25.4 (or the inverse), that's understandable, but this is pretty wild.
