Is there a way to personalize menus and toolbars, to fit my needs?

Hi all,

Im new to the forum, so a bit of an introduction; My name is Jon. I design restaurnats in Los angels and Las Vegas, to meet health and building codes. I've been working "primitively" in a way that I have a file saved with 100's of pieces of restaurant equipment, which I use to copy and paste onto floor plans.

Ideally, there would be a menu or a toolbar that sais "Equipment", Click it and you'd see "Ovens, Ranges, Refrigerators, Freezers, Mixers...Etc." Click on "ranges" and you'd see "4 burner Range, 6 burner range...Etc." and so on with every pice of equipment I need.

Is there a way to create a toolbar like this?

Im working with AutoCAD2013 by the way.

Any information helps.
