Convert 3D surface to 3D solid

Hi everybody,

I am trying to convert dxf to ACIS (sat) using autocad. The 3D object in the xdf file is represented by its boundaries using 3D surfaces.

However when I try convert to solid it does not work it gives me error. Can anybody advice?
