Annotation Scales

Hi All.

We have an increasing need to fully adopt client requirements of adding annotative scale to blocks. An example of the extent is, in 1 drawing we have 4000 blocks (about 10 variations) all with 3-5 annotative scales.

File size has increased from 3mb to 6mb, and the save time has increased from 10seconds to 5 minutes. 

Otherwise the drawing is clean, the blocks are clean, its just when annotative objects are replicated a number of times.

Any ideas of potential solutions would be appreciated.
