Pointcloud work/experiences in AutoCAD 2014!

I've been surface modelling a structure from pointcloud data in AutoCAD 2014 and im curious to see if anyone has any useful tips/information on using pointclouds and modelling from them in AutoCAD 2014.

Has anyone done this before?

What difficulties did you have and how did you overcome them?

Any advice/tips you can give?

Any questions you have?

I'd like to give/receive information on pointclouds to try and broaden my knowledge.
