I am running into some issues while trying to clean an architechtural drawing to be used as a xref background for a mechanical drawing. I am able to move all objects to the layers I want and everything is setbylayer and the AEC walls and windows show that the color is bylayer but it is not displayed in the drawing with the correct colors. I am able to explode the sections twice making them lines and hatches and change the colors but I lose doors and windows when I do this. How would I actually get all of the objects to actually be colored by layer without losing doors, windows, and door swings?
