Hi eveyone,
I'd like to know if there is a way to vectorize an image from autocad. In a near future, I'll be asked to render maps with parks, main streets, lots, etc. And I'd like to know if autocad was able to "auto-trace" an image, i.e from google map and trace it approximatly instead of doing it manually.
I don't know if some of you would be able to answer me if GIS software are better when it comes up to play with maps, or if they have such vectorize system. I'm kind of a novice when it comes to GIS software.
Plus, maybe some of you would know where I could actually extract specific datas like streets, loots, zones, etc. or find similar database. I don't think google map offering a good redering with satelite and I don't like the way google render the streets, and it doesn't give us some informations like the zones, etc.
Don't know if anyone could help me with these interrogations,
thanks a lot for your help!
