Autocad 2014 Osnap commands not working

Hello,

I am using Autocad 2014 for the first time after not having used Autocad for a couple of years. I am a beginner in the program trying to improve my skills so I can get a job in graphic design out of college. I have run into some trouble with the osnap feature. When I hold down shift and right click on the drawing area, and I click on "Intersection" for the osnap options, it gives me the following message:

Command: _int Unknown command "INT". Press F1 for help.

I want to get the little Xs that show up when I move the cursor to the corner of an object. I want to get it when I move it over the corner of an arc.

I would appreciate any help with this! :smileyhappy:
