Hi,
When I export a .dwg from Adobe Illustrator CC and then open that file in AutoCAD 2013, all of my curves are chopped up into straight lines. If I use the REGEN command, they go back to being curved.
Why doesn't AutoCAD recognize the paths as created by Illustrator? I've tried various options when doing the Illustrator export but to no avail - same result. Is there something I could be doing option-wise in AutoCAD? Or should I stop whining and just REGEN every .dwg I open up? I've researched a bit, but I'm still a bit unsure of what exactly the REGEN command is doing.
Anyone else using a workflow like this (Illustrator CC exported .dwg into AutoCAD)? Any advice? Thanks very much,
Matthew
