Union Problem

Hi Community,

I am new here but I hope I can find help.

I draw a tracery with three different profiles. Why can't I union this different profiles?

Until last week I worked with Autocad 2009 and had this problem. Now we became Autocad 2014 and the same problem occurred again.

I attache my dwg so hopefully someone can help me.
