Create a LineType

I draw a lot of electrical wiring diagrams in the automobile industry.  Typically I label the wire just above the wire with its appropriate color(s).  There are multiple wire colors used in an automobile's harness.  I'd like to create a LineType that would display the wire's color(s) using a series of line segnments.

For example a RD/BK (RED with BLACK trace) wire to be displayed as follows:

(where the RED segment is 2X the length of the BLACK segment).

I have created other LineType (acad.lin) using different letters and or numbers, but I'm not sure how to replace those lettrs or numbers with actual colored line segments.

Is it possible?
