HP DJ T7100 mirroring

ok, after several months i think i have found the problem with our 7100 intermittent  crashing. if a plot is sent and mirroring is turned on it may crash. recently i have found a job that will consistantly crash it if mirroring is turned on. turning mirroring off and it plots out great! this is the first time i can reproduce the problem consistantly. 

i have tried different versions of c3d & LDD with the same results. tried different rolls, paper types rotation options and no rotation. pc3 and system drivers, same result

we have the current firmware ( DRG_01_00_10.4) and drivers (61.113.2313.200) installed. all machines are W7 pro and the print server is win 2008. 

any ideas?
