If anyone knows of a command or lisp routine to delete the unused portion of a block/xref , I would greatly appreciate any help.
I'm currently working with AutoCAD 13, 64bit. I have a huge background which has tons of information in it. I use the xclip command to take the portion of the drawing that I need, which works just fine, but then in order to work within the drawing, I need to use refedit. Is there a setting, or variable which would crop/erase/delete the unused clipped background to the clip boundary? I've tried to explode the clipped section, but the drawing just reverts back to the original huge block (12+MB).
I'm trying to do the same thing as cropping a photo in photoshop, only using AutoCAD.
