open and save as window display has changed

Hi,

On opening a new file, saving a file or importing files etc I used to get a big window with lots of options, today however this window disappered and in its place all I am getting is a single line of text.

For example-If I click on the A in the top left corner and choose 'Open' and then 'drawing' all i get is a line of text saying 'Enter name of drawing to open <.>:.

I can't find a way of changing back to the way it was before.

Incidently this did seem to happen just after I unsuccessfully trid to import a 3ds file.

Can some one please help
