inserting .sid files into Plain Autocad

I realize I can use the imageattach command to insert a Mr.SID file into plain AutoCAD, but it does not allow the file to be georeferenced using the .SDW file.. I'm trying to check if I'm missing something. I have a series of 9 SID file to insert and they are all on the same coordinate grid, but adjacent and in some cases slightly overlapping. It would be nice if they can be inserted usig the real world coodinates. Thanks!
