Autocad 2014 Wipeouts and Grid?

Hello all,

 This isn't a big deal but It's something I've been wondering for quite a while now. I'm wondering if the grid can be retained and visible after the wipeout is being used? 

 I use wipeouts when I import a .pdf into a .dwg to clean up the image, but It also hides the grid lines.
