Serial Number to create a Deployment

Hello All,

I am trying to understand the difference between the serial number required to create a deployment (network licensed) to deploy AutoCAD via SCCM 2012 R2. while creating the "Deployment" a serial number is required. I have the Prod code, NLS name and mode but can anyone tell me the difference between the serial # requested during the deployment and the serial numbers that are input on the NLS? As you can tell I have not deployed AutoCAD before - I've worked with SCCM since SMS 1.1a but never deployed AutoCAD.
