Edit text in a single block reference without editing all references in drawing

Maybe there is a better way to go about doing this all together, I'm just not sure and I'm new to AutoCAD.

Ok, I made a Block "P1 - #". I would like to insert this block everywhere I need a home run ( a home run is a location refference to a ciurcit in a breaker panel). For example: I have a panel with 15 slots and I would like to number my home runs 1-15 on my floor plan, so the contractor knows which home run goes to which curciut breaker in the panel.

Is it possible to change the block "P1 - #" to "P1 - 1" then go to the next Block found in floor plan and change it to "P1 - 2", and so forth? OR, this there a better way to get the job done altogether?

Thanks so much for your work in answering!

Ramona
