All,
I am working on an interesting situation with a client and could use some information. We have created a standards file and a template file and altered the "Standard" dimension style to use a different font (and have also experimented with a different text style). Even though the "Standard" dimension style is identical between the two files, we keep getting a conflict message on just the dimension style. We have basically come to the conclusion that the standard dimension style cannot use any text style (or have any modifications from using the "Arial" font) other than the unmodified "Standard" text style. Otherwise, there will be a standards file conflict. Can someone please confirm that this is the case? I am recommending that the client use a new dimension style, but want to tell them that modifying the text of the "Standard" dim style is just not possible. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Hope all is well and have a most blessed day!
Peace,
Pete
