Is there a way to do the following in AutoCAD (this is specifically Architecture 2013 but i'm sure it makes no difference):
If I select a single polyline and then open the properties of it, the type of object is displayed at the top of the list (see attached screen shot 1). My question is, can this object type display be added to a toolbar in the same way that layer name, colour, linetype etc. is shown when the polyline is selected (see attached screen shot 2). I appreciate I could leave the Properties box open (uncheck auto hide) and problem solved but we have tool palettes taking up a large area of the screen already and they need to stay open.
This is not just for polylines I am just using them as an example, it’s for any object. It would be very useful in my line of work for a quick check that objects have been correctly created.
Thanks in advance
