I am currently in the process of trying to get my firm to use sheet sets. There is a problem, however. Let me give an example of my problem:
A project is being managed out of one office. 3 offices are trying to work on the project. Because we don't have any sort of data replication management yet, the satelite offices are making local copies of a drawing they want to work in, and then copying that file back to the mothership when they are done.
When that happens, the link to the sheet set is breaking, and i don't know why.
I am under the impression that that should not happen. The file should know that it is part of a sheet set, and the sheet set should know what files are a part of it, and as long as the file name doesn't change, and the layouts don't change, everything should clush back together smoothly.
What am I missing regarding sheet sets?
