In Autocad 2009, we always use layer name filters when creating layers to keep order in our projects.
In 2014, I have created a filter called 'Footprints' with the wildcard 'fp_*'. Normally, this would allow me to create a new layer and simply rename it to fp_whatever and it would automatically stick it in the Footprints filter. I could create these new layers within any subgroup.
If I do the same in Acad 2014, I get the warning 'A new layer was created that does not match the current layer filter'. The thing is, it doesn't even give me a chance to give the layer a name! It seems I first have to go to the ALL filter name and create the new layer there.
Surely this can't be correct? What am I doing wrong?
