Random corruption of orthographic UCS

Every now and then I find that the origin of one of the preset UCS will move away from WCS 0 to some other random location. As usual the solution is to copy everything from the drawing into a new drawing and all is well, however if you issue a model with a dodgy orthographic UCS you look a wally, which I wish to avoid. Anyone else come across this?
