I'm rendering a night/evening scene in AutoCAD 2013. I've got a label of the store and I have to illuminate it to get it to glow smooth white & cast some illuminanion on the wall and street.
Label is made with 3D solids. I apply white material with self illumination value to the label. But it doesn't work right: the label isn't bright white (more like grayish) and it doesn't cast any illumination to any other object!
I've tried playing with mental ray settings according to third-party tutorial. But "light bouncing" setting in Render settings of AutoCAD 2013 seems to have another name. I've found Final Gather setting and turned it "on". Where should I look for "light bouncing" setting?
If it's a different way to make a glowing object in AutoCAD please help me out...
P.S. I've googled and searched through Discussion Groups with no luck.
