Properties Pallete

I was liking it when I could double click a line and the full properties pallete would come up.  Is there a way to have AutoCAD 2013 do the same thing that it use to do.  I really dont want to have to go through the custom settings for the quick select to get the same things to come up.  That just means I have to take more time out of my busy work schedule to set all that up.  Is there a way to get the full propertise pallete to do that again?
