Problems with Dynamic Input configuration

Hello!

Whenever I type a command in AutoCAD, I can see it right next to the cursor -- but it won't show me that down arrow symbol which would allow me to configure the tool settings (radius, justification, scale, etc), only the autocomplete list. Does anyone know how I can activate the down arrow function instead?
