Hi,
I have a dwg created on Autocad Architecture 2013 for windows that I cannot open - it is stuck at 81% during opening. It is always stuck at the point where it says it is opening a specific temp file of an xref within that drawing. I have recovered the referenced drawing and tried deleting all the .ac$ files in the temp directory & rebooted.
Whenever I try RECOVER on the actual drawing it gets to "pass 1" with no invalid objects and then freezes.
I also have another version of the same file as a sv$ in the file directory which gets to 93% opening and freezes on a different temp xref to the original.
I am wondering if there is a way to get autocad to ignore xrefs when opening?
I've also tried opening the file on Autocad for Mac 2014 but it freezes while opening and also recovering the file.
I've attached both the original file (freezes at 81%) and the sv$ version (freezes at 93%). Any help I could get would be much appreciated.
