Creating a self-updating drawing (conditional, automated)

Hello,

I am working on AutoCAD 2014 for Mac OS X and want to create a 2-D drawing that updates itself based on a few initial constraints (my apologies for the confusing title of this post, was not sure what to call it).

I design greenhouses. Essentially, I need two input variables: width and length. Based on these two variables, drawings for the underground heating and cooling systems will be generated. For bigger greenhouses, we have more pipes running underneath, as well as longer length, etc. I am wondering if this is possible?

This would be great because we currently have to draft each diagram for each individual greenhouse we build (unless they have the same dimensions, then we can re-use old diagrams).

My guess is that I can place specific constraints on the lines (i.e tubes underground are all 1.5' from each other, on center), as well as other constraints that I have figured out and then AutoCAD can do the rest. Just wondering if this is possible?

Thanks for your help!
