AutoCAD 2012 - Windows 7 64 Bit

Every now and again, one file will start having issues with the line/pline/arc etc commands. Basically it seems as though it is snapping to random points. OSNAP/SNAP/GRID/DYN toggle doesn't make a difference. Regen helps momentarily but doesn't last. If I have other files open at the same time, they don't have the problem. If someone else in the office opens the file they have the same issue so it's not my computer necessarily though it could be something I do when using AutoCAD. I'm hoping it's the file settings. Basically I have two questions.

1) Does anyone know what could be causing the problem in the first place. i.e. am I typing a command etc, so that I avoid it in the future?

2) How to fix it once it happens?

I know there are other posts about this but none of the solutions they've posted have worked and don't have the issue of it being just one file and not AutoCAD in general.

Thanks!
