At my company, whenever we finish a project on AutoCAD 2010, we publish it to .pdf for the customers who don't have AutoCAD. We have found that for any block of text that has an Omega symbol in it, regardless of text style, when we open up the newly-created .pdf, it gives us an error message about "Arial MT" and shows the whole section of text as a bunch of dots on the .pdf, instead of displaying text properly.
We've been looking for a solution for this. I found this online: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/central/5.7/designer/Readme.htm#Greek_Characters , but it doesn't seem to work for Adobe Reader Version VI (11.0.06) (we can't find the "jetkeys" file it references.)
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
