Windows 3/4 symbol in attributes

Hello

Why won't AutoCad recognise the 3/4 (three quarter) symbol from the Windows symbol pallette when inserted into attribute text, it displays a question mark?

Any ideas how to show a ¾ symbol in attribute text?
