Help with Move Command

So I'm an ACAD novice but have consulted some people that are extremely proficient and everyone is stumped. Running ACAD 2013 Mac. I've attached before and after pics to illustarate. I've got 7 rectangles, I'm trying to move the one on the right farther to the right and it stretches elements from the adjacent ones. Here's the before and after pics. Can someone help?
