it would appear that when a DWF is open in Design Review, it cannot be attached to a DWG. i receive an error when attaching (see below). I can only assume this behavior is expected, however, if a PDF is open i any PDF viewer, it CAN be attached to a DWG.
Also, let's say that a DWf is already attached. Open the DWF first using Design Review, then open the DWG using AutoCAD. The DWF will be unloaded until Design Review is closed.
Can anyone show me somewhere where this behavior is officially explained? I'll create a support request with Autodesk if I can't find anything that already exists. My client wants a definitive answer (in addition to that error message which is fairly definitive in my opinion).
It doesn't appear to matter which AutoCAD version I use to attach the DWF.
