Network Profile Load

Is it possible to load one profile if a network connection exists and another profile if the user is working offline automatically using a lisp routine? I know I can add 2 shortcuts to a users desktop and name it ACAD-NoLAN and ACAD-LAN and add profile startup switches to them but it would be nice if I could get AutoCAD to detect the server by using a variable like "If servername exists then load LANCON.arg"
