Video Cards causing AutoCAD to malfunction

Ok,

This is an ongoing saga but I am getting closer to finding a solution.  I have a new Dell Precision M6700 (i7, 16gb RAM) and it has a Nvidia Quadro K3000M video card installed.  So I am certainly not underspecced.  But AutoCAD refuses to function properly ie. Ribbon buttons don't work, regular hangs and crashes etc. when both the Quadro video card AND the onboard graphics card are ENABLED.  If I disable either one of them then AutoCAD works fine.

So I would be happy to just disable the onboard graphics but if I do I lose the ability to have dual monitors which is important to me.  I thought I could get dual displays with the Quadro K3000M but this does not appear to be the case.

Does anyone know how I might fix things so I can have dual monitors AND the Quadro Video card enabled,  if not both video cards enabled but without the problems.

FYI.  This is causing me problems with AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD 2014.  I have AutoCAD 2014 LT installed also but this runs OK with both video cards enabled.

Mnay thanks in advance.

Chris
