amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs

c:\program files\autodesk\autocad 2013\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs.

I get this error (five in a row) every time I run one of my company's script files. The script file has worked with previous versions of AutoCAD, but I just upgraded to 2013.

I still have 2012 software installed, so I tried running the script with that. The error presents itself in that version as well, though it didn't used to. ("c:\program files\autodesk\autocad mechanical 2012\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find
a dll or other file that it needs.")

For what it's worth, I have AutoCAD Mechanical installed, but use AutoCAD without the Mechanical profile, etc.

I tried the remedy provided here without success.

Elsewhere, a repair of the installation was suggested, which also didn't work. I uninstalled AutoCAD 2013 and reinstalled it, and the error persists.
