Recently installed AutoCAD 2014, have been using AutoCAD 2006. Now experiancing problems with Copy & Paste. No error messages, but after I copy to clipboard from source drawing, paste option is not available in destination drawing.
Side Bar; In AutoCAD 2006 I often performed copy & paste from source drawings into blocks, and visa versa, in AutoCAD 2014 I have yet to figure out how to copy & paste into a block or visa versa.
I have found two ways around copy past issues that sometimes works.
first option; I expload source drawing prior to copy to clipboard. But when I do this I often loose characteristics in source drawing I desire to copy.
Second option; Save & close source and destinations drawings, close & reopen AutoCAD, and reopen souce & distination drawings. When I do this copy & past often starts working for a while.
Note; I have found that being able to copy and past into block is a very powerful tool that I used often, and not being able to do so is very frustrating. As of date, my only option is to explode, edit, redefine, and update. while hoping to duplicate all the original block peramiters.
