... do you really want to do this?

When I try any command (mirror, erase, rotate, etc.) in AutoCAD LT 2014 it tells me '64530 items selected, do you really want to do this?' even though more like ten items are actually selected. Then whether I type 'y' for yes or 'n' for no, I get the spinning wheel of death until I close the program. Anyone else having this problem? I have installed all patches and all updates.
