Multileader with custom block

Hi, another week of questions...

I want to make a multileader with a custom block as the arrowhead.

All easy enough, however my block is a cross, and I want it placed so the cross is always orientated north/south - east/west. But when you draw the multileader it orientates it depending on the label placement - it rotates the block.

Is there a way to force it north/south?

I tried adding parametric restraints inside the block so the lines should be horizontal or vertical, but it seems the leader text placement overrides this.

Any ideas?
