I'm looking to write a macro to toggle "OSNAPS" "POLAR TRACKING" & "OSNAP TRACKING" on/off.
I have this:
'^w^f^u;
^f seems to control the OSNAPS
^u seems to control the POLAR TRACKING
but
^w seems to be SELECTION CYCLING
Can someone please tell me which letter controls the "OSNAP TRACKING"
or
post an updated sheet of all the ^<letter here> toggle commands

I am having a very frustraing crashing issue that I think is related to Viewbase.
The publisher crashed in the middle of creating a pdf so I saved and restarted CAD. After that the file crashes as soon as I open it. I was able to open it in 2015 but that doesn't really help because I can't update viewbases created in 2016, and if I save it, reopen it in 2016, I'm unable to create new viewbases since it was saved in an older version.
So frustrating, and there is so little help when it comes to viewbase. Can anyone assist me in trying to open this file in autocad 2016?

I have found numerous websites that appear to offer AutoCAD 2010 Service Pack 2 (64-bit) as a viable download. However, none of them (including Autodesk itself, and the links on this forum) seem to work. When I click on the download buttons/links, the circle spins for awhile, then nothing happens. Does anyone have this specific file that you're willing to share? Or, does anyone know of an on-line source that actually has a download that works?
My question is we currently us an Access Data base for our GIS with AutoCAD Map 2015 3D and we are wanting to convert to a SQL data base and I need to find specification purchasing a server and Licensing. Can some please help me out.

So I have been using Autocad for the past few years, and up until a few weeks ago, it was fine. It's for the little things that seem to bug me the most because I use them fairly often Now it seems to want to change various settings when I go to edit drawings. The trim tool is now a multiple part process instead of just selecting the objects I want to trim, and then clicking the one I want to trim to. It now decides that I have to choose what option I want whether it is, fence, crossing, erase, or undo. None of them seem to do the job I want. Anyway I can revert back to the settings that don't show me those options, and just allows for a quick edit? Thanks.
Hi, I want to copy drawing of a map into a template at another window. I used copyclip and pasteclip command. I did got the layout in another window, but the problem is its too small for the template. I tried zooming in and then copycliped it but it didn't work. Anybody knows how to resize the map in another window?

For a long time, I have fought against adding elements from non-CAD software to AutoCAD (a task I call cross-programming, which has caused many a headache for me). Unfortunately, the way of the world seems to prefer those kind of activities, so I've tried to learn how.
Lately, I've tried to import Microsoft Excel spreadsheets into my working plan drawings. However, I am having fits with trying to get two spreadsheets constructed in Excel to look the same. They're made with the same fonts, and the same approximate width (within decimal points). The only difference is the number of rows that these spreadsheets possess. And thus, each spreadsheet in AutoCAD scales differently, and I can't the text fonts/heights to look consistent (let alone to equal the generally accepted 1/8" text height in the industry).
Can anyone share any insight/solutions to this mess?

I am a new user to 2016. When using the _insert command, Autocad inserts an earlier version of a saved drawing into my working drawing even though the inserted drawing has been saved. How can I force autocad to always insert the current version of a drawing?
When printing in autocad 2016 I almost always use the previous plot choice under name. How can I make this the default setting so I do not need to choose it every time?
Is there a generic way I can change default settings in autocad 2016? For instance, When setting up the multileader scale the defaults on the left and right leader are different and neither are what I want. I want to set the default choice to always be the same so I don't have to set it everytime.

Typically, a scale is written as x:x, but the scale created is a very long decimal, as expected, but I cannot see a colon or anything to which that long decimal compares. It is important to provide a scale, how can I read the scale it has created?

Express tool are installed however I don't believe they are working correctly. I get unknown comand allthough the ribbon displayes the expresse tool tab.
I have purchased AutoCAD 2016 and the layers toolbars in the ribbon are missing or hidden.
Our company has been continually updating our subscriptions and we have serial numbers for 5 seats as well as for a 3 seat disc. However, the discs have gone missing and we want to download the software but the only download link I have found goes back to 2013, not 2010. Is there a way to still download our 2010 version? Is there a link that we can get or a way we can get a copy of the discs?

I would dearly like to have a .lsp routine that would alter all the dimstyles available in a given drawing by changing the measurement scale to 12.00, the unit format to Architectural, and the precision to 1/16, all of which are located in the Primary Units tab of the dimstyle dialog box.

so i have an access to autocad 2014 and autocad 2014 civil 3d, we have drawings with thousands of blocks ( divided into packages) and am wondering if there is a method or tool that will allow me to automaticly add the stations numbers to these blocks based on the geographical location or the location in the drawings.
please find attached a screen shot of the drawing where the squares are draw champers (one of many blocks ) and we are trying to number them on an ascending order in the drawing.
so what are the tools to be used and how to use them??
