I have 3 rectangles arrayed around a circle (below). I need to now draw this in isometric view. I'm not sure if this is possible as I'm running AutoCAD LT 2010. I'm having some trouble even picturing what it would look like. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
I have had ACAD 2013 one year and have had absolutely no problems with the program; using Windows 8 then 8.1- updated 2 months ago.
Recently the program/drawings will open but sometimes the functions are irratic and freeze up. I can perform some work then suddenly the commands don't type in and it locks on fence/polygon select mode. After that all tools are frozen, but can still move around workspace and open up new files. Have tested on several .dwg files and the malfunction occurs consistently on all files.
Am up to date on Service Pack 2 and all Windows updates. Also tried the repair feature through Windows without success.
Any suggestions-ideas on the problem/solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Just updated to from AutoCAD 2014 to AutoCAD 2015
Without the AutoCAD application already running, if I open a .dwg file from windows explorer, AutoCAD 2015 asks me to choose a template, as if I was opening a "New", blank file. I have to choose one, then it will proceed to open the file I had selected.
This pauses the opening process, and adds an extra step when trying to open files.
Is there a new setting I am missing that can prevent the "Use a Template" window from popping up in these cases?

Hi..When i ws trying to activate my autocad with activation code, it ws showing error 0015.111. Actually my activation code is small. it ends in 14th block. What to do?
After a week of scrubbing and realizing this is a common issue, I'm asking for any help...I have read hundreds of posts in all associated support possibilities (Autodesk, Apple, Parallels) and can not find a working combination. It seems many have found some compromise, but I have not succeeded in something that works for me. Running AC 2014 on a new Macbook with Mavericks, Windows 7 under Parallels 9, retina display. I've adjusted about every combination I can imagine in all associated applications, each affecting something, but no total success. I'm hopeful someone has found something that does work!
Biggest issues for me are that the pull-down menus across the top (line types etc.) are all crunched or too big for their space so unreadable, and icons at the bottom are microscopic and status is not readable. I know these are generally known issues, just hoping someone has found some magic that makes it all wonderful!
- No issues on my older Macbook, 1920x1200, without retina (same versions of Windows / Parallels / AC).

AutoCAD table is not printed,
In the attached dwg file, I wanted to print the tables but they are not not printed. Their layer is ON for printing.
What other issues might affect them to not be printed?

when I select any line or any element , then press "pr" command to get the properities of this element , I get a blank windows and no thing appear at all. I tried to test this issue an many workspaces but no hope to get it solved :( .

Hey guys. Please help me how to load drawing toolbars on auto cad for mac.
my companie uses autocad 2011 and im brand new. they open there title block then insert there drawing file. but when i try it i cant get the scaling to work. i would like a walk through if any one can help. a video would be great.

I am embarrased for Autodesk.
Model and Layout TABS.
I like how Autodesk has the down arrow next to the Layot Tabs to select and show all available Layout Tabs.

I wonder however why do we need the the 3 Layout Tabs and then the down arrow.
Why not just the CURRENT Layout with the down arrow.
OR just and another ICON for the Layout Tabs.
Autodesk Colour Scheme.
I do not mind the new DARK colour scheme but I wonder why Autodesk has to dramatically change with releases.
With the new DARK colour scheme all icons need to be "perfect" or they will show pixelation around the edges.
(Not the Autodesk icons which are perfect, but 3rd party icons from the Exchange Store.
Why not KEEP the original LIGHT colour Scheme
Rename the current AutoCAD 2014 DARK colour Scheme to Medium
And then introduce the new DARK colur scheme.
Simple.

Hi all,
I would like to know how to put a background mask on Blocks like of that in Mtext. I've tried making a hatch background and color it with white but the autocad seems converting the color into black which it should not i think. Please help any help will be appreciated. BTW i'm using AutoCad 2014

i'am looking for a lisp to create x.y coördinates, of course there are plenty of those with leader and text. But i'm looking for one where i can edit the layer, textstyle, leaderstyle, scale and that sort of things so i dont have to do a scale function or match properties.
Is there a way to change a variable or setting so that I can enter a command when a tool tip is open? Having to move my cursor to enter a command is a waste of time, and it is driving me crazy. I like the tooltips b/c I often have to add vertices, but don't want yet another thing to turn on and off.
